Garden City Cat Hospital’s Cat Country Club

Lazy CatA home away from home—exclusively for cats.

Do you feel stressed about your cat’s comfort while you are away? Would you feel better knowing your cat was under the care of a veterinarian? Do you prefer your cat to be in a dog-free environment?

What is the Cat Country Club?

The Garden City Cat Hospital’s Cat Country Club provides accommodations for cats while their owners are away. Whether you are moving, vacationing or briefly out of town, we offer your cat a safe and enjoyable place to stay for your peace of mind. Dr. Chivers, owner and operator of the Cat Country Club, supervises all cat stays. You can rest easy knowing that your special feline is being cared for by qualified veterinary staff.

Large Cages

These large roomy cages allow your cat to move around easily.  We supply the litter, bedding as well as food for your pet.  You are always welcome to bring along items from home like your cats favorite blanket or toys to help make their stay with us even more pleasant.  Cages are cleaned daily.

Rooms

We also offers large rooms for your cats stay. All rooms have large secure windows, as well as cat trees, beds etc.  These rooms are perfect for multiple cats staying with us or single cats that will be staying with us for  extended periods of time.

Boarding Policies

BoardingCurrently we are ONLY boarding patients of Garden City Cat Hospital. All boarders must be vaccinated for Feline Distemper, Upper Respiratory, and Rabies. These vaccinations must be current. There are NO exceptions, and we reserve the right to refuse to board any cat without a valid certificate of vaccination. These vaccinations must be given 2 weeks prior to the stay at The Cat Country Club.

It is strongly recommended that all boarders be tested for and vaccinated against Feline Leukemia.

All boarders over 6 months old must be neutered or spayed.

We insist that owners supply all diets and treats for the boarding period to minimize stress to your feline. If you run out while boarding will do our best to find an alternative and reserve the right to charge an extra fee.

Any medical or surgical procedures that are requested at Garden City Cat Hospital during the boarding period will be paid in advance. Any additional charges will be billed at discharge.

All charges are due and payable at time of discharge.

Long-term boarders (greater than 10 days) are required to pay 50% of the estimated boarding fees at the time of admittance.

Check-in time is no later than 2:00 p.m. (11:00 a.m. on Saturday).

Check-out time is between 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. If you check out your cat after 11:00 a.m., there is a full-day charge for that day, as at any fine hotel.

All services performed must be paid in full upon release of your cat or in advance. A deposit may be requested. Method of payment may be cash, debit, MasterCard, or VISA.

If your cat has fleas we will treat him or her with Revolution. This is mandatory to protect other boarding cats. Please inquire as to the charge.
